Masturbation is an excellent way to explore your body and sexuality and is known to have multiple health benefits. Regular masturbation is an effective stress reliever, can relax and boost your mood and even help you sleep better. In saying that, the testicles sometimes feel a little left out. They are lower and a bit further out of the way and often in masturbation or oral sex the balls sometime get a bit neglected. Apart from testicular fearing of missing out (TFOMO), you may be missing out on an important activity that may actually save your life.
Testicular Self Examination or TSE for short is a simple check that you and your partner/s can do on each other to detect any abnormalities that may need to be seen by a doctor. Testicular cancer is the second most common cancer in young men aged 18 to 39 and according to cancer council Australia early diagnosis through TSE and prompt care results in excellent prognosis for this disease.
The most common symptom of testicular cancer is a painless swelling or a lump in a testicle.
Less common symptoms include:
• feeling of heaviness in the scrotum
• swelling or lump in the testicle
• change in the size or shape of the testicle
• feeling of unevenness
• pain or ache in the lower abdomen, the testicle or scrotum
• back pain
• Enlargement or tenderness of the breast tissue (due to hormones created by cancer cells).
Please see the video and information below and the next time you want someone to fondle your balls just ask for a TSE.
